Akroma Gold Company Limited is seeking to recruit Mine Manager
Responsibilities
• Oversee installation and commissioning of mining equipment and development of new shafts • Lead recruitment, training and professional development of superintendents, supervisors and operators • Prepare and execute operational plans, monitoring progress against targets • Ensure health, safety and disciplinary standards for all personnel on site • Enforce the provisions of the Minerals and Mining Act and Regulations and maintain adequate safety equipment and facilities • Perform any additional duties as prescribed by Mining Regulations (L.I 2182)
Qualification Required & Experience
• At least Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Mining Engineering or related mining discipline • Valid certificate of competency issued by the Minerals commission • Minimum of 10 years of relevant mining industry experience • Below 60 years of age
