Responsibilities

The facility manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of property maintenance. This includes coordinating repairs, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring that all systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) are functioning properly. He/she will also manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
Tenant Relations: Function as a point of contact for residents and handles tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests.
Facility Security: Ensure the safety and security of the residents.
Budgeting and Financial Management: Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring that the property remains financially viable.
Facility Upgrades and Renovations: When necessary, plan and oversee renovation projects or facility upgrades.
Compliance and Regulations: Stays updated on relevant laws, regulations, and building codes related to residential properties.
Ensure that the facility complies with these requirements, including safety standards, accessibility guidelines, and environmental regulations.
Team Management: provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure efficient operations and a high standard of service.
Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records related to the facility, including maintenance logs, incident reports, and financial records.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should possess a B.Sc. in Real Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Engineering or related discipline
At least 8 years post-qualification Experience.
Project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience managing estates / residential apartments is required

Monthly Remuneration:  N180,000 – N250,000 with performance bonus
