About the Role


You will oversee the receiving, ripening and dispatch of raw materials and ensures that the warehouse is well managed.  You will be part of Tupande Soko and will report directly to Warehouse Manager. This role is based in Sagana at Tupande Soko factory and is on site.


Responsibilities


Coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of raw materials
Mentor warehouse staff, ensure training, adherence to safety protocols, and maintain hygienic conditions for the team and casual workers.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts.
Implement and enforce Food Safety Management Systems
Analyze and resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.


Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have


Diploma/Degree in Food science, supply chain management, business administration or any other related course.
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
Familiarity with Food Safety Management Systems, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Proficiency in warehouse inventory management software and systems
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
Proven managerial skills and ability to effectively supervise a team
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Keen attention to detail
