Requirements


Applicants must be holders of a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture or any related field from a recognized university.
Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience with at least two (2) years as supervisor.
Computer literate
Additional professional qualifications in management such as Business Management, Project Management and Marketing from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.


Duties and Responsibilities


Assisting the Farm Manager on day to day operations of the University Farm;
Ensuring production targets of each farm units are achieved;
Supervising staff and keeping attendance records;
Supervising students on attachment; Field patrols/ scouting on regular basis and making reports;
Collecting soil samples from the fields as directed by the Farm Manager;
Record keeping of farm inputs and output.
Safeguarding farm inputs and outputs; and
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
