JOB DESCRIPTION

A Facility Manager provides support for the organization to ensure the day-to-day smooth management and operation of the building's infrastructure and facilities, through systemic maintenance and repairs, and effective and efficient use of those facilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY


Log, analyze and track maintenance requests
Ensure facilities are used appropriately, effectively and efficiently
Ensure maintenance of all facilities
Conduct daily inspection of all facilities and document status
Make provisions for staff facility request
Keep proper records of purchased, maintained, repaired, damaged or assigned items
Issue work orders to appropriate tradespeople or maintenance officers
Match work orders to invoices and send invoices for payment


JOB REQUIREMENT


Minimum of HND in relevant courses is required
At least 2 years’ experience
Technical skills and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and office facilities
Good interpersonal, communication, documentation and customer service skills
Attention to details
Able to work in a team
Able to assess and prioritize tasks
Good computer literacy
