About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mercedes-Benz Technician (Mechanic) to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles to the highest standards of performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury automotive technology and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities


Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on all systems, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electronics.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and system inspections, ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer standards.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest Mercedes-Benz technical bulletins, service guidelines, and technology advancements.
Use of Tools: Operate specialized diagnostic equipment and tools specific to Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Customer Interaction: Explain technical issues and repair needs to customers in an understandable manner when required.
Documentation: Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with service advisors, parts personnel, and other technicians to ensure seamless operations in the workshop.


Qualifications and Skills


Experience:


Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with luxury vehicles.
Prior experience working with Mercedes-Benz vehicles is highly desirable.


Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as XENTRY or STAR Diagnosis.
Strong knowledge of Mercedes-Benz systems, including electronics, hydraulics, and drivetrain components.


Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in varying conditions, and stand for extended periods.
Soft Skills:

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
