Duties and Responsibilities


Reading and interpreting Architectural and Engineering drawings
Comparing their details with work on site
Compiling site weekly reports & Monitoring work progress
Supervision of artisan carrying out maintenance work at a department


Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -


Served in the grade of Inspector (Building) or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for at least three (3) years
Diploma in Building & Civil Engineering or Construction Technician Certificate part or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution
Shown merit % ability as reflected in work performance & results
