Key responsibilities:


Prepare variance analysis and cost control reporting and recommendations.
Interpret, implement, and monitor organisation policies and procedures,
Ensure financials are reported in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and statutory requirements. 
Support maintaining adequate product costing systems for valuation and cost estimating activities.
Evaluate Plant capital investment requests
Support deployment of cost-saving and other programs to provide operating economies and improve profitability.
Support Operation initiatives at the plant
Ensure a concise review of current and projected operating results.
Partner with Plant Management and Plant Controller to advise on a wide range of issues facing the plant. 
Proactively assess key assumptions underlying operating plans identify major risks and opportunities and compare to management expectations.
Assist in the preparation of Board Pack presentations and Quarterly management review packs.
Support timely completion of Business Planning Processes (BPP) by assisting in collecting and compiling input data.


Requirements

Qualifications required:


Minimum academic qualification:  Bachelor’s Degree in  Finance or Accounting option or its equivalent
Qualifications as an added advantage: CPA (K) or equivalent
Professional registration: ICPAK


Experience required:


General work experience (years): 8 years
Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 3 years
