JOB DESCRIPTION
• Track inventory, identify low stock levels or potential stockouts, and ensure timely replenishment. • Maintain records of items, reconcile physical stock with inventory systems, and prepare regular stock reports. • Select items from inventory, assemble orders, and prepare them for shipments. • Liaise with management, transport companies, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations. • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, and labels for outgoing shipments. • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Enforce safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and orderly warehouse environment
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or HND • A minimum of 2 years experience • soft skills like communication, problem-solving, leadership and organizational skills, and hard skills • computer proficiency (especially WMS software and spreadsheets), understanding of safety procedures and supply chain logistics.
