As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure, providing exceptional customer support, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, modems, and other related devices in both residential and commercial settings.
Conduct on-site visits to customers' premises to set up and configure Internet connections, ensuring optimal network performance.
Respond promptly to service requests, diagnose network issues, and resolve problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the technical support team to identify and address network-related problems and implement appropriate solutions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades, software installations, and system backups.
Educate customers on the proper use of equipment and provide guidance on basic troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

Tertiary Institution and relevant certifications or technical training in networking, telecommunications, or related fields is a plus.
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, preferably within the ISP industry.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to resolving complex issues.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
