Role Overview Summary

To Provide strategic leadership and co-ordination to ensure that all consortium and collaborating partners, youth panelists, and other stakeholders are aligned in delivering the objectives of the Make Way program.

Ideal Applicant Summary

Knowledge/qualifications

This is a senior role that includes coordination and management of programs. A relevant university degree or post graduate qualification preferably in Public Health or related field.

Experience

Substantial experience working for international or national organizations, including management of programs.
Experience in working in and leading partnerships and large consortia in SRHR programmes.
Evidence of understanding the challenges of working in consortia and its implications for program management.
Excellent understanding of consortium program cycle management tools to ensure effective planning, resourcing, implementation, and review of programs.
Experience of donor reporting on impact, changes, and effectiveness measures, especially with regards to major donors.
Practical experience of applying lobby & advocacy issues at a (consortium) program level.
Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of lobby & advocacy issues.
Experience and knowledge of the relevant program areas: capacity strengthening of (networks) of CSO’s, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, intersectionality, and youth involvement.

IT literacy (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, SharePoint)
