KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Operate printing machines efficiently to deliver quality printed materials with minimal waste.
Ensure compliance with job specifications, including print clarity and color accuracy.
Conduct regular quality checks to identify and address printing defects.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of printing machines.
Interpret job orders to determine print specifications (quantities, stock types, production times, etc.).
Set up and adjust printing plates, rollers, and other components.
Monitor machine performance and make timely adjustments to avoid downtime.
Blend and test inks and solvents as per material and job requirements.
Provide on-the-job training to Assistant Machine Operators.
Maintain proper documentation of production data and quality checks.
Support waste reduction, 5S practices, and good manufacturing standards.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


Diploma in Printing Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience operating Flexo/Rotogravure/M6 machines.
Strong understanding of printing processes and machine operations.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and mentor junior staff effectively.
Certificate of Good Conduct or proof of application.
