JOB DESCRIPTION
• Setting up accounts for staff, ensuring that they know how to log in • Solving password problems • Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter • Conducting regular checks on network and data security • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks • Responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults • Performing electrical safety checks on computer equipment
Skills and Qualifications
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills • Excellent communication ability • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles • HND or degree • 2 years work experience
