Job Overview

We are seeking an elementary teacher with EdTech experience to help us develop engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning content for elementary school students. Our mission is to make education more interactive, child-friendly, and adaptable especially for learners with special needs.

In this role, you will design high-quality materials in both English and French and collaborate with designers to transform lessons into PowerPoints, printable worksheets, and mobile app content.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development


Design lesson plans and structured learning materials for elementary students, aligned with educational standards.
Adapt lessons for diverse learners, including those with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, or other learning differences.


Presentation & Print Materials


Create PowerPoints that can be easily adapted into worksheets, handouts, and guides.


Mobile Application Adaptation


Work with our development team to repurpose lessons into interactive, accessible mobile learning modules.


Graphics & Design


Use visual design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint) to create engaging, child-friendly content.
Create visual supports and activity modifications to increase accessibility and engagement.


Inclusive Content Development


Apply inclusive design principles (large fonts, clear contrasts, simplified layouts, visuals).
Apply special education strategies (behavioral, multisensory, differentiated instruction).
Ensure all content is linguistically and culturally appropriate in English and French.


Preferred


Special Education teaching experience.
Experience with educational technology tools (Google Classroom, LMS, mobile platforms).
Knowledge of basic design tools (Canva, PowerPoint formatting, etc.).
Experience in bilingual or French programs.


Requirements & Qualifications


Certified teacher with experience in elementary education or related field.
Proven experience in curriculum design and instructional material development.
Familiarity with assistive technologies and accessibility practices in education.
Strong fluency in French (spoken and written).
Comfortable collaborating with designers, developers, and education teams.
A creative thinker with a passion for making learning engaging, inclusive, and fun.
