Duties and Responsibilities

This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of Senior Officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: Assist in designing of mechanical engineering service in government buildings and construction works; interpretation, installation and inspection of Architectural and Engineering drawings at construction sites; Examine mechanical systems and equipment in government buildings and construction works; and checking repairs and alteration of existing buildings.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this position, an officer must have:


Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution; and,
Certificate in computer applications skills
