KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


To manage and implement platform projects from conceptual phase to implementation
To design products/components and or make improvements/changes to existing products/ components in line with market requirements and trends.
To manage and implement cost reduction/quality improvement projects
To ensure products comply to standard requirements
Conduct laboratory experiments, testing prototypes, and collecting data to evaluate product performance.
Keeping abreast of the latest scientific advancements and industry regulations.
Working with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth product development and commercialization.
Studying market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify potential areas for innovation.


QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor’s Degree - Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field
Experience in 2D & 3D drawing and modelling.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production or R&D based environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Product Development/Project Management experience would be advantageous.
Good understanding of Sheet Metal Design Principles, Plastic & Electrical components would be advantageous.
