Assisting in rescue operations during emergency
Operating appliance & Communication equipment
Setting of fire appliance


Requirements for Appointment

Direct Appointment

For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -


Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ or its equivalent and relevant qualification
Certificate in Fire engineering from a recognized fire services training school/institution
First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St, John’s Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and building Technology (KIBHT) or any other recognized institution
Be physically fit
Be Certified Medically fit by government Doctor
