Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:


An earned PhD or MMed in Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent degree in the relevant field from a recognized University. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in
Fellowship Training recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya
Fellowship may be in any of the four specialisations

Gynecologic Oncology
Infertility
Uro-Gynaecology
Foeto – maternal medicine will be an added advantage


A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points, as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty-four (24) should be in refereed scholarly journals
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University as a Senior Lecturer level or Senior Researcher/ Industry experience or equivalent
Supervision of postgraduate students will be an added advantage.
Attracted research or development funds as a Senior Lecturer /Senior Research Fellow
Be registered with a relevant professional body
