Requirements

BCom in Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology
Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Lead / Recruitment Manager, with experience leading a team
Excellent understanding of talent acquisitions and selection processes
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) – TalentLink experience highly advantageous
Sound understanding of employer branding strategies and social recruiting
Solid experience utilising and implementing various sourcing strategies / methods to support future and current talent acquisition needs
Experience in talent / recruitment data metrics
Must have IT industry experience
Attention to detail a must
Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
Strong decision-making capabilities
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong relationship builder

Responsibilities

Mentoring and supervising the Talent team
Managing full recruitment cycle
Work jointly with the Talent team and be involved in the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring process of potential employees
Understand recruitment demands, principals and processes in all of BBD’s locations
Ensure recruitment strategies are up to date and in line with company growth strategy
Update current and where necessary, design new recruiting procedures
Keep track of recruiting metrics
Identify staffing needs and co-ordinate with unit heads on hiring requirements
Coordinate with hiring managers to forecast future hiring needs and find projects for internal supply
Define job description and document specifications
Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and other relevant Talent insights from the market
Advise the business on best recruiting practices
Build long-term relationships with Internal and external stakeholders
Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
Identify and implement new sourcing methods and strategies to identify prospective candidates across a variety of channels
Develop and implement a sustainable Talent pipeline
Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
Research into maintaining competitive advantage (competitors & marketplace)
Work closely with Marketing in the implementation of new as well as proven recruitment marketing strategies
Build the company’s professional network through relationships with professionals, universities, colleges, and other partners
Participate in job fairs and career events
