Key Responsibilities:


Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
Develop and innovate menu items in collaboration with the Management .
Ensure all food preparation is carried out according to recipes and hygiene standards.
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff where necessary.
Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
Maintain portion control and minimize food wastage.


Requirements:


Proven experience as a Chinese Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen.
Deep knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional flavors.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus.
Basic understanding of kitchen financials, including food cost and inventory.
