As a specialist recruitment consultant in Finance, I’m partnering with leading organisations across Kenya to identify an exceptional Tax Director. Education:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc in Taxation/Finance) preferred.


Certifications & Licenses (highly preferred in Kenya)


CPA-K or ACCA certification (mandatory).
Membership with ICPAK (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya).
ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation), CFA, or CIMA are advantageous.


Job Experience & Skills Required:


Minimum 10 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel
ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage)
Strong understanding of internal controls and financial audits
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proven track record of leading tax functions within multinational corporations, Big Four firms, or large corporates.
Experience working across multiple industries and jurisdictions is an advantage.
