Job Purpose Statement

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with demonstrable experience in a professional IT environment. This role requires a deep understanding of various banking business systems and computer operations processes, as well as sound knowledge of information technology and related support architectures.

Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)


Develop, implement, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure to support the organization's operations.
Ensure the smooth operation of banking business systems and related computer processes.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT trends and advancements to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of technology.
Implement and manage IT security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.
Document IT processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.


Job Specifications


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.
Adequate understanding of various banking business systems and computer operations processes.
Demonstrable experience working in a professional IT environment.
Sound knowledge of information technology and related support architectures.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with specific banking software and systems.
