Why do people withdraw from antiretroviral drugs?

  • Availability of the drug,mostly in remote areas where one has to travel to pick his/her drugs ,then there's the pill budden where a patient is... required to swallow more than one pill in a day and secondly lack of information on the side effects and possible solutions to them.lastly it's about the packaging which makes it hard for a patient to use his/her drug due to fear of stigmatisation.so I think if we solve social stigma,have mobile clinics with community health volunteers and proper education (counselling) we will greatly improve the uptake of drugs more

  • All I know is that there is no single drug that is free from side effects but to overcome most of them, always consult your Physician on the proper... way of taking medications. It is the worst saying that even the food we eat can sometimes turn out and cause side effects. more
