Job Description

Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
Pick up company staff/clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
Collect payments and issue receipts
Assist staff/clients with loading and unloading their luggage
Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest
Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
Regularly washing and cleaning the vehicle.
Conducting timely vehicle maintenance checks.
Informing the company of any accidents or vehicle damage.
Identifying any mechanical issues in the vehicle.
Other assigned duties by the line manager.

Requirements & Skills

Candidates should possess an OND qualification
Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.
Must have at least 2 years experience as a logistics driver or related position.
Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
Strong time management and customer service skills.
Attention to detail.
