Job Position: HR Manager
He is responsible for recruiting new staff, motivating them to stay on the job, and providing training to the workers. Socialize with all the workers, attend to what the workers need, and compute the workers’ pay. He deals directly with all the workers of a company and ensures that the standards of the company are met regularly. He maintains all the worker’s files. He monitors staff leaves and daily attendance records. He communicates with the workers regularly to see what they need and also socializes with the management about workers’ issues. He analyzes what kind of training certain workers need to improve their performance. He mediates between workers and management.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Employment law - working conditions, disciplinary and grievance procedures, equal opportunities, redundancies, compensation and benefits administration, and maternity rights.
Recruitment - hiring staff, producing job descriptions, placing adverts, working with recruitment consultancies, organizing interviews, and running assessment centers; He must make sure that the organization is employing the right people, with the right skills and qualifications for the job.
Training and development - putting together a staff training program and identifying suitable courses for staff through regular staff appraisal exercises (need assessment).
Salary reviews - researching salaries and ensuring they are in line with legal requirements and industry standards
Documentation - writing staff handbooks, contracts, staff memos, and issuing written offers of employment, promotion, etc.
Staff file – Keeping accurate  and  updated  files of the workers is important for future reference
Staff attendance and leave – He monitors staff leave and daily attendance and provides necessary information to the payroll/accounts department.
Staff welfare –He is responsible for the welfare of the staff, providing counseling facilities and sports and social activities for staff. Health and safety of the workforce.
Company policies – he will be concerned with developing, advising, implementing, and communicating management policies to staff. He will need an excellent understanding of how the organization operates its business, its requirements, and its commercial objectives.
Company culture – Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
Process developments – The personnel manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals.
Information & counseling - he will work very closely with other departments and provide an information resource for both employees and senior management.
He may also work closely with company lawyers and trade unions.

Job Requirement

Knowledge of sound office etiquette.
Excellent front desk/secretarial skills: minute taking and reporting, drafting of letters/memos, filling and documentation etc.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office programs), and social media management skills.
Sound office admin. Knowledge.

Qualification

Bsc, HND,
At least 5 years relevant work experience.

Remuneration: N150, 000 – N200,000 (depending on level of competence).
