Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conducts thorough inspections of pallets and packaging to ensure compliance with food safety standards and quality assurance protocols
- Monitors and verifies proper handling and storage of food products to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Performs daily reviews of records related to quality inspections, HACCP, SSOP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the facility
- Conducts regular, direct observations of food safety-related actions, including monitoring the Food Safety Program, sanitation processes, and other inspection activities
- Documents inspection findings, including any deviations from established quality standards, and report them to the General Manager
- Collaborates with warehouse staff to implement corrective actions and ensure adherence to food safety practices
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintains and analyzes trends related to food safety inspections, self-inspections, and other relevant issues for management evaluation
- Assists in the development and refinement of quality assurance protocols and procedures related to pest control products
- Supports training initiatives for warehouse staff on quality standards and pest control product handling
- Stays updated on current food safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience
- 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:- Previous experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a similar role is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA) and quality control principles
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data entry and reporting tools
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and environments, including refrigerated areas
