Responsibilities


Teaching all areas of the EYFS using Montessori approach.
Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
Taking responsibility for the progress of the learners.
Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of learners’ development.
Coordinating activities and resources within specific areas of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery.
Providing feedback to parents on learners’ progress.
Keeping up to date with current procedures and practices through continuing professional development.


Requirements


NCE, B.ED, TRCN, BSc/HND (plus PGDE).
At least 2 years’ experience as a preschool teacher in a reputable school.
Good knowledge of EYFS and applicability.
Good knowledge of Montessori learning approach.
Good writing skill.
Very good knowledge of Jolly phonics.
Ability to effectively use online learning tools.
Digitally knowledgeable.
Excellent written and verbal communications (fluent in English Language).


Note


Qualified applicants who reside around Ogudu, Ojota, Alapere, Ketu, Ikosi and Oworonshoki environments will have added advantage.
