PURPOSE
The Principal Capacity Building Officer (Internship)will be responsible for successful implementation of the Boards Graduate Engineers InternshipProgramme.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail: -

Developing the curriculum for registration ofengineers.
Overseeing the development of tools necessary forconducting professional examinations for the purposes of registration;
Overseeing development of the requirements forestablishing the school of engineering and the opportunities for learning,professional exposure and skills acquisition; and
Developing tools for facilitating the graduateengineers internship programme.

PERSONSPECIFICATIONS
For appointment to this grade, an officermust: -

Have a minimum period of six (6) years relevantwork experience;
Have Bachelors Degree in any of the followingdisciplines - Engineering, Statistics, Communications, Economics, Finance, Law,Social Science from a recognized university;
Be registered with a relevantprofessional body where applicable;
Have Proficiency in computerapplications;
Shown merit and ability as reflected in workperformance and results; and
Fulfilling the requirementsof Chapter six of the Constitution.
