Responsibilities

- Supervise and support security officers during assigned shifts.

- Ensure all posts are properly staffed and provide coverage when needed.

- Conduct roll call, post inspections, and routine patrols.

- Train, coach, and mentor security officers on site procedures and company expectations.

- Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.

- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns in a professional manner.

- Communicate staffing needs, attendance issues, and performance concerns to Operations.

- Ensure officers maintain a professional appearance and follow company policies.

- Serve as the primary liaison between the client, Operations, and security staff.

- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and overtime needs as directed.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications 

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Previous security experience required.

- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to write clear and accurate reports.

- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.



 

Preferred Qualifications 

- Military, law enforcement, or corrections experience is a plus.

- Experience supervising security operations in retail or industrial environments.



 

Physical Requirements 

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, if necessary.
