Job Summary

As an Agronomist, you will be responsible for the planning and management of our arable crops, including seed selection, planting, fertilization, pest and disease control, and harvesting.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement crop production plans that maximize yield and quality
Monitor crop growth, perform soil tests, and adjust crop management strategies as needed
Identify and diagnose pest and disease issues, and implement appropriate control measures
Work with farm management to plan and coordinate field operations, such as planting and harvesting
Keep detailed records of crop yields, costs, and other data to inform future decision making

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in arable crop production
Strong knowledge of crop physiology, agro climatology, and soil science
Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and practices
Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment.
