Brief Description        


The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across all aspects of Fahari Aviation's operations, including flight operations, training and distributorship and reseller activities. This role will drive a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. The primary objective is to safeguard the organization's reputation, protect personnel, and maintain operational excellence through effective quality and safety management practices.


Detailed Description        

Principal Accountabilities (Responsibility)

Quality Management


Implementation and maintenance of a robust QMS for operations, training and distributor/reseller.
Effective conduct of internal audits and verification of corrective action implementation.
Timely and accurate analysis of quality metrics.
Successful management of quality records and documentation.


Safety Management


Implementation and maintenance of a robust SMS for both operations and training.
Timely and effective conduct of safety risk assessments hazard identification & mitigation measures.
Thorough investigation of safety incidents and accidents.
Successful promotion of a strong safety culture through training and awareness campaigns.
Timely and accurate analysis of safety performance indicators.


Regulatory Compliance


Ensuring adherence to all relevant aviation regulations, including KCAA and ICAO standards.
Successful representation of Fahari Aviation in regulatory audits and inspections.


Training and Development


Development and delivery of effective quality and safety training programs.
Identification and addressing of training needs.
Fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.


Continuous Improvement


Identification and implementation of opportunities for improvement in quality and safety processes.
Successful promotion of a culture of innovation and problem-solving.


Job Requirements        

Qualification (Minimum)  


Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/mechanical/Electrical or an equivalent Diploma from a recognized institution.
Must have successfully completed training in quality management course recognized by the authority.
Must have successfully completed training in safety management systems course recognized by the authority.
Must have completed training in audit techniques.
Must have completed human factors course.
Proficiency in current Civil Aviation Regulations.
Familiarity with UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) operations, including knowledge of Approved Training Organizations, distributor/reseller dynamics, and principles of safety and quality management systems.
Minimum 3 years overall aviation work experience
Minimum 1 years’ experience in managing people
Minimum 1 years should have been acquired in a quality department
Must have performed supervisory roles for a minimum period of 2 years
