Key Responsibilities:


Supervise the development and maintenance of the network web portal
Manage the project’s digital presence, including website content, social media, and newsletters.
Create and disseminate communication materials such as press releases, reports, and brochures.
Coordinate media relations and serve as a liaison between the project and external stakeholders.
Support advocacy efforts by managing digital campaigns and producing promotional content.


Person Specifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Additional training or certification in digital marketing is an asset.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in communications, digital media, or public relations, preferably in development or innovation sectors.


Skills:


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in content creation, social media management, and website maintenance (WordPress or similar platforms).
Strong graphic design and multimedia skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating visual content.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, email marketing, and online campaigns.
Experience in managing media relations and communications for donor-funded projects is a plus.
