Professor I. A. Nweke, is an honest and trust worthy researcher in Soil Science and Agronomy with 12 years experience and over 100 research articles that are highly referred in international journals, evidences are there in Google scholar, Research gate and Academia. He has equally successfully supervised over 10 post graduate students (PhD/M. Sc.) of which most of their works are published in referred journals.



My research interests are in the areas of soil - bio – physics -conservation and environmental management with special interest in management of mechanical behaviour of the soil mass, water management, environmental pollution management and conditions for optimal agricultural production and in the use of soil organism like earthworm in the treatment and management of soil and their relationship in soil-plant-water continuum, soil fertility management, carbon sequestration, soil water and plant relations, soil ecology, soil conservation and erosion control, waste management, solid waste management and recycling, bio-engineering of erosion and flood control, environmental water pollution management and control, organic carbon dynamics and crop production, soil mineralogy, tillage and tillage practices in agricultural production, biofertilizer/ phytoremediation and biodiversity
