Direct and manage all teams of Technology Group and the staff of the department, planning and organizing their activities, setting targets, monitoring performance and giving support, instruction and advice;
Design and implement strategic information technology plans and budgets for cost-effective procurement, utilization and maintenance of computer software and hardware;
Formulate, manage and monitor IT Disaster Recovery and Security Policies and Procedures.
Management of Vendors; Negotiate service level agreements and monitor the performance of vendors and suppliers to ensure the service level agreements are met,
Monitor leases and contracts and ensure compliance with terms and proper licensing for all hardware and software components is done.
Ensure Compliance to Internal Controls, Policies and procedures; regulatory requirements and industries’ best practices.
Planning the future objectives of the department and ensuring these are in accordance with the corporate objectives of the Bank;
Prepare and maintain the risk assessment matrix associated with technologies implemented at Bank;
Oversee the areas of information security, business continuity planning, audit, insurance and compliance;
Implement and enforce effective internal IT controls;
Using IT governance best practices, manage configuration & release;
Manage IT procurements in collaboration with Bank procurement department and in accordance with Bank procurement rules and regulations;
Perform any other duties as may be directed by the Executive Director.
