Reporting to respective Head Nurse, the successful candidate will responsible for assisting Nursing Officers with non-skilled tasks, pottering of patients, files and keeping patient environment safe for quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the transfer of patients to and from their vehicles, beds, chairs, wheelchairs, stretchers ensuring safety measures are adhered to.
Assist in wheeling and/transporting of patient to the wards, x-rays, ECG, physiotherapy, laboratory ,etc in the company of the Nursing Officers.
Maintain high standards of Infection Control Practices as per policies.
Ensure the environment is clean
Carry out messengerial duties as delegated from time to time.

The requirements

Minimum of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
Certificate in Nursing Aid or equivalent from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
At least one (1) year of experience in an acute care setting.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer services skills.
