Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive allocated vehicles to approved destinations.
Detect mechanical faults and report them to the designated Officer for appropriate action.
Prepare fuel requisitions and ensure fuel consumption is in line with approved mileage and records.
Record vehicle movements and usage systematically in provided log sheets.
Keep allocated vehicles clean to uphold the Company’s image.
Monitor timing for servicing and maintenance and draw attention to the transport officer as necessary.
Report all incidents to the Officer in charge of transport and police when necessary.
Perform preventive mechanical maintenance with practical skills in general car servicing and technical troubleshooting.
