Responsibilities

Proficiency in languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and potentially NoSQL databases
Ability to integrate devices (example POS systems, health monitors) with other software
Expertise in Android or iOS development is essential.
Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is important.
Competence in developing and consuming APIs (RESTful or SOAP) to enable communication between different components.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, secure transactions, and PCI DSS compliance
Basic knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
Familiarity with payment processing mechanisms, including credit/debit card transactions, digital wallets, and other payment methods.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise, including software bugs, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
Clear communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related fields.
Certification is an added advantage.
