Duties and Responsibilities
The duties will include:-

Providing administrative support services to health-related projects;
Coordination of  County Government Health Programmes and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) involved in the delivery of health care services or in health-related services;
Reviewing, formulating and implementing health and administrative policies, procedures and programmes; and
Effective supervision, deployment, discipline, training and development of staff in the health administrative service.

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Served in the grade of Senior Deputy Chief Health Administrative Officer, Job Group CPSB 05/’P’ or in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
Have a Bachelors’ degree in any of the following Social Sciences: - Government, Anthropology, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Economics, Law or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
Masters’ degree in any of the following fields; Health Management, Hospital Administration, Health Planning, Public Health, Health Economics and Business Administration or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; and
Demonstrated outstanding professional competence and administrative ability in the management of health services in a large health institution.
