Responsibilities

Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
Performing diagnostic imaging to obtain clear, usable images.
Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.
Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
Operate complex medical instruments such as MRIs, CT scanners, X-ray, ultrasound, and several other imaging devices.
Direct and supervise the activities of radiography assistants and trainee radiographers
Maintain proper records of patient details ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
Follow up on patients after treatment to track the progress of recovery and ensure patients show no signs of radiation side effect.

Requirements & Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Associate in Radiology
3-7 years proven experience working as a Radiographer.
A license to practice Radiography.
Good organizational, time management, and analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
The ability to lift heavy weights without assistance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion.
Good mathematical abilities and technical skills.

Salary:

NGN 180,000 - 220,000
