Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education: At least a Bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology, medical sociology, public health or a related field emphasizing qualitative research methods training.
Verifiable experience in performing qualitative data analysis using NVivo, Dedoose or any to other related qualitative analysis software
Specific experience and skills required:

2+ years’ experience in research involving human participants
2+ years conducting in-depth interviewing, focus group discussions, and participant observation.
Experience supervising field data collectors
Strong organizational, planning, and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player


Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills are required.

Qualifications Preferred:
Any of the following additional experience is preferred.

Previous experience working with health care providers and patients
Research plan development and execution
Coordination of multi-county studies and interventions

Candidate must be able to:

Assist with report creation, including writing, analysis, and chart and table creation in Excel or PowerPoint.
Detailed note-taking during client calls and meetings.
Able to effectively problem solve logistical issues and self-initiate solutions. Proactively identify issues and suggest solutions on how to make projects run more smoothly.
