A reputable company dealing in frozen food located in Tamale invites applications from suitable applicants to fill the following vacancy: Branch Managers (6 Positions)
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of the cold storage facility, ensuring smooth workflow • Manage and monitor stock levels, stock rotation and product handling to prevent spoilage and loss • Maintain and monitor temperature controls to ensure optimal storage conditions • Ensure compliance with health, safety and food storage regulations • Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of products ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. • Implement and improve stock management systems for tracking and reporting (i.e FIFO or FEFO). • Supervise, train and manage cold store staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies • Perform regular checks on refrigeration systems and report same for needed maintenance and/or repairs • Oversee loading/offloading processes to maintain product integrity • Prepare reports on inventory, temperature logs and operational efficiency
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a cold storage environment • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control • Knowledge of food safety regulations and cold chain logistics • Excellent leadership problem-solving and organizational skills • Ability to work in low-temperature environments and handle physical tasks when required
