Direct Oversight - Ensure strategic alignment and facilitate quicker data-driven investment decisions.  
Team Leadership- Leading three analysts, the Portfolio Manager will enhance research quality, strategy execution, and operational efficiency, addressing a critical leadership gap.  
Meeting Market Demands - Increasing client expectations for advanced investment strategies and robust risk management necessitates a dedicated portfolio management leader.  
Optimizing CIO Capacity - empowering the investment team and enabling the CIO to focus on strategic growth initiatives.
Enhanced Performance - Use advanced analytics to drive superior risk-adjusted returns and capitalize on market opportunities.
Improved Risk Management - Implement tools like daily Sharpe ratios, alpha generation, and Value at Risk (VaR) to refine risk mitigation and enhance portfolio resilience.  
Operational Efficiency - Streamline processes, allowing senior leadership to prioritize longterm strategic goals.
Scalable Decision - Making-Increase the investment team’s capacity for timely and effective decision-making, improving responsiveness to market dynamics.

Other Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related fields
5 years of experience in investment management, including unit trusts and third-party mandates.
Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
Possess a strong foundation in portfolio management, leadership, matrix algebra, and compliance.
Progression towards CFA/CAIA and CISI Level 1 & 2 is highly desirable.
Investment qualifications from credible institutions such as the CFA Institute would be an advantage.
Demonstrated pursuit of professional qualifications such as the CFA /CPA II /ACCA II or equivalent will be an advantage.
Proficiency in investments software’s and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.  
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
Knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
