The opportunity
The purpose of this role is to oversee and ensure that country-based information is fed into the overall project framework to allow results-based monitoring. S/he will establish and maintain a coherent monitoring approach across the target states – leading the MERL initiatives for the consortium. The Consortium MERL Manager will also be responsible for overall knowledge management and documentation of best practices and lessons learnt from the project. S/he will report to the overall consortium lead with technical line reporting to the Country MERL Manager.
About You
We are looking for applicant with Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of work experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL), preferably within education/livelihood related programmes with an International NGO. A master’s degree is highly essential. The candidate should possess proven expertise in providing leadership to MERL teams, preferably in the areas of education/livelihood projects. S/he should have Knowledge in the use of various survey methods for monitoring of different programs. Additional training and experience in Management Information Systems (MIS) would be an added advantage.
