Requirements for appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen;
Be a holder of a Diploma in Nursing from an institution recognized in Kenya;
Be registered by Nursing Council of Kenya;
Possess a valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya;
Must be computer literate.

Duties and responsibilities

The Registered Nurse Intern shall be responsible to the employer and the supervisor for the following;

Offering Nursing Services;
Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health matters;
Referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities;
Coaching and mentoring students on attachment;
Collecting and compiling data for research on nursing services matters;
Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Terms of service: one (1) year internship contract
