Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care

- Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to deliver high-quality care

- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement

- Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and social work, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders to foster a positive and supportive environment

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitoring, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards

- Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of financial and human resources

- Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote growth and development


Requirements:
- RN license with current registration

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility

- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and regulations

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
