Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced News Editor to join our team at our television station.
The News Editor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our news department, including the planning, research, and production of all news content.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, research, and production of daily news programs
Manage and supervise a team of reporters, producers, and other news staff
Coordinate coverage of major events and breaking news stories
Ensure the accuracy and credibility of all news content
Maintain strong relationships with news sources and community leaders

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or related fields
Proven experience as a News Editor or similar role in a television newsroom
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of current events and ability to identify relevant stories
Experience working with a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
