Benue State Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is actively seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors for the procurement of consultancy services, local partners, in the areas of Services, Supplies, Works, and Grants. This initiative is part of our commitment to fostering sustainable development and enhancing the quality of life for our communities in Benue State.

Categories of Procurement:

Service contracts/Consultancies:

Service contracts are meant for studies, technical assistance and are also used for audits or communication services.

A study contract is a service contract concluded between a contractor and the contracting authority, which includes studies for the identification and preparation of projects, feasibility studies, economic and market studies, technical studies and audits. A technical assistance contract is a service contract where the contractor is called on to play an advisory role, to manage or supervise a project, or to provide the expertise specified in the contract.

Supplies contract

Supply contracts cover the purchase, leasing, rental or hire  buy) of products. A contract for the supply of products and, incidentally, for fittings and installation shall be considered a supply contract.

Works contracts

These covers either the execution, or both the execution and design, of works or work-related activities or the realisation, by whatever means, of a work corresponding to the requirements specified by the Contracting Authority. A 'work' means the outcome of building or civil engineering works taken as a whole that is sufficient of itself to fulfil an economic or technical function.

Grants

A grant is a financial contribution made by the SDGs International Partners (IP) by way of donation to be given to one or more beneficiaries for the purpose of carrying out an action or implementing a work programme.

Submission Requirements:


Interested vendors are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) that includes the following:
Company Profile: Overview of the organization, including history, ownership, and relevant experience.
Evidence of Previous Work: Description of similar projects carried out in the past, including names of clients and references.
Financial Statements: Recent financial statements (at least the last six months) demonstrating financial stability.
Qualifications and Expertise: Details of key personnel, their qualifications, and relevant expertise in the specified category.
Compliance: Evidence of compliance with tax obligations and other regulatory requirements (e.g., tax clearance certificate, registration with relevant professional bodies).
Approach and Methodology: A brief outline of how the vendor intends to engage with the SDGs for the stated services or goods.
