Job Summary:

The Bilingual Admin Officer will play a critical role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth communication between the Nigerian and Chinese teams. This role requires fluency in both English and Chinese, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy office setting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and capable of handling both English and Chinese-speaking customers, vendors, and staff members.

Key Responsibilities:


Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to staff, including filing, photocopying, document organization, and handling day-to-day office operations.
Bilingual Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for both English and Chinese-speaking team members, ensuring smooth communication between the two languages.
Customer Service: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in both English and Chinese, maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times.
Document Translation: Translate business documents, reports, emails, and other written communication between English and Chinese as needed.
Office Supply Management: Monitor and restock office supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff use.
File Organization: Manage both physical and digital filing systems, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
Equipment Maintenance Coordination: Track and coordinate the maintenance and repair of office equipment and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Multitasking and Support: Provide support to various departments and assist with ad hoc tasks, including running errands, handling logistics, and supporting the management team in day-to-day activities.


Requirements:


Educational Qualification: BSc in any relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline).
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) is a must. Additional language skills are a plus.
Experience: Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred but not mandatory. Experience working in a multicultural or bilingual environment is an advantage.
