Duties and Responsibilities

Extension service delivery on irrigation, agricultural /farm mechanization, sustainable water and environmental conservation and management and other related land development services
Irrigation planning, surveying, design and development services
Coordination, supervision and guidance on farm machinery repairs servicing and maintenance, to ensure quality work and timely completion of the same
Organization and implementation of mechanization extension programs related to farm power, farm mechanization, mechanized soil and water conservation service and other related land development services

Requirements for appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen
Have Bachelor of Science Degree in any of the following fields: - Agricultural Engineering, Environmental and Bio systems Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Have at least three (3) years’ experience in the relevant field
Registration with Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB) or Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a technician ;
Have Proficiency in computer applications
