Designs, develops, and tests mechanical components, machines, and equipment
Analyzes problems to establish design requirements and specifications for mechanical engineering projects
Prepares drawings, sketches, diagrams, and specifications to define the design concept
Designs electrical components for machines, equipment, and control systems
Develops detailed cost estimates of each project based on time studies of similar work, materials costs and labor rates or standard costs, such as average rates established by Management Engineer department or Management Engineer manager in accordance with the company standards
